This incident caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
