Helicopter Spins Out of Control into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Beach
An aircraft soaring over a well-attended coastal coastline unexpectedly commenced twirling uncontrollably, ultimately losing altitude and smashing into a line of palm trees as onlookers observed.
Footage uploaded on social media depict the helicopter beginning to twirl over the shoreline then falling towards the edge of the beach, where it gets stuck among palm trees and a set of stairs near the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Update
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five persons were rushed to the hospital including two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” after the crash on Saturday.
Three persons on the pavement were injured. Details on their condition were not yet released.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.

The department mentioned the aircraft was linked to an regular “Cars with Copters” charity gathering set for Sunday.
