UK Punter Secures a £26 Million Euro Millions Top Prize

One British player has claimed the £26m Euro Millions grand prize, lottery officials have announced.

The successful digits picked on Friday evening were 06, 12, 18, 25 and 41, with the Bonus numbers 02 and 06.

This marks the third EuroMillions top prize won in the United Kingdom so far this year out of the ten held so far.

At the start of the year, one ticket-holder claimed £83m, then came a £65 million February 14 jackpot. Both winners decided to be anonymous.

However, the successful player of the Saturday £10.6 million UK Lotto jackpot has yet to come forward.

A top consultant encouraged ticket holders to spend some time to check their tickets and electronic messages.

The successful Lotto digits for last Saturday were: 06, 08, 12, 33, 49, 59 and the bonus number was 42.

"Our team is ready to offer support and provide experts who can assist victors optimize the win for them and those close to them," the representative commented.

The EuroMillions win will be verified against the official rules, and after confirmation, the successful player will choose whether to go public.

Even with making them a multi-millionaire, Friday's prize of twenty-six million pounds does not rank the player among the top European lottery successful players.

A jackpot of more than £183m would have been required to earn a position in the premier rankings of biggest payouts.

The biggest prize claimed by a UK ticket-holder is £195 million in the year 2022, as reported by the lottery.

Even though it is challenging to hit the prize, it is more common than people believe to leave it unclaimed.

One participant failed to claim a one million pound jackpot last year after failing to claim a lottery success within the six-month deadline, meaning the cash was given to charitable causes.

The largest lottery win to go unclaimed in the Britain was sixty-three point eight million pounds in June 2012.

The EuroMillions game is conducted every Tuesday and Friday evening across multiple European states.
